Hello Kitty Swap

Made a few changed to the blog to spice things up a little.  As you can see, the text  'wants/swaps' inks on the left sidebar has been replaced with image links featuring the album cover of each set - hope that it doesn't confuse anyone.

A couple of new albums have also been added to the blog under 'wants/swaps' - looking to find the remaining stickers from a few of them now.

As for a sticker update, I did receive another sticker via swap from the Hello Kitty album yesterday, #20.  I have already ordered the remaining stickers from this album from Panini - apparently it should take about 3-5 weeks to receive my missing response.

Panini The World of Cars Swap

Received a few more Panini the World of Cars stickers in the mailbox via swap a few days ago.  When I first picked up this album I never thought I'd be getting so many sticker swaps coming in towards this series as I have been.

Panini Cars 2 and Winnie the Pooh Swap

Panini Cars 2 sticker - #103

This Panini Cars 2 #103 sticker arrived in the mail yesterday via swap.  Only one more sticker to get my hands on until I can complete the album, that sticker being #104 - which nobody seems to have an extra to trade, I smell a conspiracy.  Cute sticker, happy to have just one left to go.

Also included in that same swap were a few Panini Winnie The Pooh stickers, a series of stickers I've owned none previously.  I really like the illustration work on these cards, very colorful - and I've now been tempted to search them out online.

Quick update here on the blog; I received about 40+ stickers via swap a few days ago for the Panini NHL 2010-11 album I've been working on.  Have you told you how much I love big sticker swaps?  Well, I do!  This lot brings me just 107 stickers away from finishing the album.  Hopefully I can soon get it down to 40 and order the remaining stickers from Panini.

Panini Hello Kitty and Disney My Princesses Swap Mail Day

What a great mail day haul to start this week off with, receiving four envelopes in the mail from recent sticker swaps I've done and another package encasing a lot of stickers that I won in an online auction.

Panini Hello Kitty Fashion - #82 and 154

Another two Hello Kitty stickers that I can now remove from my 'want list' - numbers 82 and 154.  Basically the stickers spotlight Hello Kitty adorning a Hawaiian ensemble and the other features a girl monkey character dressed in winter wear.  These two stickers bring the count down to just four stickers away from completing my album.

I've been having some trouble finding stickers for this Panini Disney My Princesses sticker series so when I came across this "pick 7 for a $1" lot I went ahead and grabbed whatever stickers I needed that were available.  In total I was able to purchase 35 stickers from this seller at a low price, shipping combined.

I also received a second lot of stickers from the Panini Disney My Princesses set today, these 19 stickers I received were as part of a swap.

The 54 My Princesses stickers take my completion percentage status from 40 to 64 percent.  In turn meaning I only need 74 more stickers to fill the album.  Not too shabby but still a long road to walk until I can see the end of this one - these two lots really took a chunk out of the 'want list' though.

Received another three envelopes from recent swaps today - although because of my poor organization skills, only one of the swaps held stickers that I needed to complete an album.  Receiving stickers number 10 and 171 brings the want list down to just two stickers!  Hopefully I can find stickers #103 and 104 sooner rather than later so I can lay the final nail in this coffin.

Panini Cars 2 and My Princesses Swaps

Received a few Panini Cars 2 stickers in the mail from a fellow swapper just a couple days ago -getting down to the final slots left to fill in the album and lemme tell you, it has been a challenge. I think That I might have another swap from this series coming through the mail at the moment but I'm not 100% positive; it seems like I have several sticker swaps left to arrive but I'm not completely sure to be honest. They all occurred before I thought of recording them in a notebook as a way to keep track of all the sending and receiving.

Panini Disney My Princesses stickers - #70, 73, 84, 89, 110, 203

I also picked up two box lonely packets of Panini Disney My Princesses earlier today. I think I did okay on avoiding doubles but alas I still have a fairly large want list to tackle from this album - getting there, it has been difficult to find any stickers from this set at retail.
